The living area is mostly made of furniture, such as a couch and coffee table and TV stand. We have added items like a guest notebook, books, puzzles, games, and a dartboard. This is where your creativity can shine. A few considerations are outlined below.
Television
We bought a Roku TV and have been happy with it. The Roku has a guest mode where people can enter their checkout date onto the TV and it will log them out from all their apps after they check out. The TV we bought is available here: Link
Couch
You’ll want a couch that’s easy to clean. We bought a white couch off Facebook Marketplace and it won’t last much longer than a year and a half or so.
Coffee Table
We opted for simple, light, and easy to clean with this modern and minimalist table available here: Link
Couch Pillows
We opted for Ikea cushions with zip-off, removable pillow covers. This makes them easy to clean regularly, and they were affordable too!
Rug
We like this abstract, light, machine washable rug pictured below. It was a little finicky with our vacuum in the beginning but it has changed its tune recently, being easy to vacuum without it folding up and sliding while the vacuum runs over it. It is available here: Link

Make the living area a statement! This is where guests will imagine themselves unwinding after traveling around for the day, so this is the fun and inviting part where you can showcase your creativity!
